Day of Inclusion

Turkish Student Association participated in the First Annual Day of Inclusion that was held on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 in the UAlbany Campus Center Ballroom as one of the representative cultural organizations. In its display table, Turksa volunteers handed out flyers for upcoming events and promotional materials about Turksa, and displayed advertorial documents about Turkey.

Full day of events included film screenings and discussions, tablings by various organizations, food from different cultures, and a panel discussion on diversity in higher education. The Day of Inclusion was sponsored by UAlbany's Office of Diversity and Affirmative Action, University Auxillary Services, Black Faculty and Staff Association, Alianza Latina, Office of Multicultural Student Success, and National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
